In the end, a bemused Pacho Herrera would watch as a naked woman runs by. The third season has had its downsides, and offered some rushed endings for its characters. Moving on past Pablo Escobar, and eventually Colombia itself, has made Narcos feel less like it is telling a single coherent story.
Still, this season delivered a lot of what makes Narcos fun. The former get a little bit of what they want, the latter end up dead. All smirk and purple shirt, Freddy realizes that he can have the cartel kill Pallomari and get something for himself along the way.
Tough luck, Freddy! The Rodriguez Orejuela brothers are extradited, and Pacho is murdered during his prison stint.
Just Chepe gets out of custody — only to walk right into a surprisingly slapstick execution at the hands of the Castano brothers.
Speaking of a rushed ending, so much for Jorge. Finally, just when you think you have Narcos figured out, it surprises you with another fridge full of heads. This finale serves up yet another out-of-nowhere surprise, this time for David, who had played his cards pretty well up until now.
He rushes out for what looks like a climactic race to catch Jorge at the airport. Instead, North Valley gunmen kill him and his men in a drive-by shooting we had no idea was coming. Cartel Club :. But leaving Jorge alone in the front of a van, outside the one apartment in Cali where they know the cartel will send hitmen, is next-level malpractice. It turns out that all of the Narcos screen time spent on that plot just went toward killing a second-tier villain.

Characters have sex in bed and standing up with moaning and thrusting; backsides and breasts visible. Infidelity, discussion of body parts and sexual techniques. Frequent cursing, in Spanish and English, with many four-letter words unbleeped. Characters are called "faggot" and worse. Ethnic and racial slurs frequent. The entire crux of this drama is the drug trade. We see the intricacies of the cocaine trade from its step-by-step production to its transport hidden in vehicles to its consumption.
Many characters snort cocaine, smoke marijuana, and drink alcohol on-screen. Cocaine in baggies and wrapped packages ubiquitous. We see drug mules in action, including pregnant women who swallow cocaine packages to get over the American border one is sickened and dies, along with her baby. Set limits for violence and more with Plus. Parents need to know that Narcos is a very realistic drama about the birth of the cocaine trade in Colombia.
The drama is historically accurate and made with great care. However, because it depicts shocking and potentially traumatizing events, it's not for kids. Violence is ever-present on-screen. Characters are shot dead suddenly, with spurting blood and gore. Their dead bodies are shown at length. Characters have sex on-screen; we see breasts, buttocks, moaning, and thrusting. The Cali Cartel is the smooth, suave, under-the-radar polar opposite of Pablo Escobar's boastful, arrogant, charming "man of the people" persona. First, we see Helmer "Pacho" Herrera Alberto Ammannhead of distribution and security, bathing casually in a bubble bath. His male lover emerges from the bubbles. Next is Miguel Rodriguez Orejula Francisco Denisoperations chief in charge of money, murder, and logistics.
Oh, goodie. A new set of faces and names. Brace yourselves: This is going to be a lot to keep track of.
That night, the Cali Cartel is planning on holding an extraordinary party. For the first and only time, everyone in the cartel's extended network will gather. Gilberto Rodriguez will be making a speech. When the four cartel godfathers get together, we see they genuinely all love and respect each other — they have a much less tense relationship than Escobar and his men had for now.
Given the importance of the event, the cartel's impressive security team is making preparations. Pacho, head of security, gives a rousing speech, before announcing that Jorge Matias Varelaa top-notch security guard, is leaving his job at the cartel to start a security business of his own. Everyone, even the DEA, knows about this party. The DEA nabs one such informant and installs him as a waiter in the party.
He wears a button that also happens to be a camera. Before Gilberto makes the announcement, Jorge catches the waiter with the hidden camera. After Jorge makes this big find, Miguel confronts him, and says he wants Jorge to continue working for the Cartel for the next six months. Jorge has no choice but to say yes. Withdrawal from the cocaine business. In six months, all evidence that the Cali Cartel had ever existed will be gone.
The four godfathers and their entire extended network will surrender, and get out of the business unscathed. Gilberto doles out execution assignments; each person who spoke out will die.
Accompanied by a gang of leather-clad motorcyclists, Pacho arrives to the outdoor disco where Salazar is dancing with a woman who is not his wife Maria Andrea Londo. Pacho makes nice, and agrees to put all of their differences between them.
Then, Pacho begins dancing sensually and making out with a man on the dance floor. There is some playful lip biting happening. Pacho smashes a bottle of alcohol his head. When Claudio awakes, his arms and his legs have been attached to two motorcycles going in two different directions. A few revs later, the motorcycles have accelerated to their full, gruesome capacity.
When the Cali Cartel kills someone, they wrap his body in netting and drop it into the river.
